Project
The Skill-Circle project will apply innovative methods to mainstream and enhance understanding for “circular economy thinking ”. This will be done through:
- the use of digital storytelling and training materials along with
- new curricula

which will provide tailored solution for specific target groups - participants in vocational education and training, with special focus on those with lower educational level and with migrant/refugee background – by helping them to initiate new business opportunities as well as to create local jobs at all skills levels and opportunities for social integration.

The main aim of the project is to change the target groups’ mindset and develop their key entrepreneurial competences for circular economy, hence improving their employability and social inclusion.

The project will last for 25 months, from the 1st of September 2017 to 30 September 2019.

Objectives
- Analyzing the specific training needs of VET learners related to circular economy

- Exploring current practices of circular thinking and acting from different sectors of industry in Europe

- Developing and testing a training program to support the change of mindset of VET learners

- Developing online training materials (including animated tutorials) specifically targeted to low-educated learners about circular economy thinking
